Saint Patrick’s Day and Finals Week

The time is upon us where we all wear green from fear of getting pinched by our friends and coworkers. I wore a green Lacoste polo today to work and was pretty dumbfounded that only a few co-workers were wearing green. It strikes me funny how people are getting so unfestive these days… not that I”m all into St. Patties day, its’ just an excuse for me to start making Corned Beef and Cabbage! Just in time to make a huge pot of it while I study for finals.

Corned Beef and Cabbage! It may not look good but it's tasty!

I feel that if I provide the recipe for this it would be a waste of time! It’s VERY VERY easy even those who are prone to set the kitchen on fire would find this a breeze to make. Basically just take Corned beef, simmer it for 3 hours or so until it’s tender. Then drop in some cabbage (carrots if you want too) and potatoes and cook it all together. You can get fancy with this but I like to keep mine simple ( and I was too lazy to go to the grocery store).
